The Great Stupa of Universal Compassion, is the most sacred building in Buddhism. Located just outside of Bendigo is 50 metres square at its base and nearly 50 metres high. This makes it the largest stupa in the Western World and something definetly to check out whilst in Bendigo. The stupa has an amazing and very affordable cafe on site with many vegetarian, vegan and gluten free options available.

The stupa has an amazing and very affordable cafe on site with many vegetarian, vegan and gluten free options available.
Our favourite place to go for a walk in Bendigo. With the boardwalk cafe located convienently on the walking track you can easily get some breakfast on the way or if coffee is more your style there is more than one spot to grab one whilst walking around the lake.
