run/bike Stunning road
13km faraya kfardebian This trail starts under the Monastery of Our Lady of assumption and goes on the road toward Nabaa el Aasal spring and the water pipe which crosses over the stream from the Nabaa el Laban spring. When you arrive at the top of the “Jisr el Hajar” of Kfardebian (natural bridge), the trail continues towards a hill lake and joins a concrete water canal to reach the Faqra ruins and temple. From there, a footpath runs towards a dirt road which passes by a quarry before reaching an umbrella pine forest. Follow a new path downhill towards the orchards by the stream, passing a concrete bridge. Continue over another bridge onto the main paved road which leads you to some orchards beside the stream. Cross it by a ruined watermill and start climbing towards Kfardebian village. You can either continue towards section 14 or finish next to Mar Ephrem church in the village by using the connecting trail.

From Kfardebiane to Baskinta (el Chakhroub) 16.5 km hike Use the connecting trail from the Mar Ephrem church to reach the head of the trail of section 14. Walk downhill and cross the river on a locally-made wooden bridge and climb up the other side until you reach a dirt road that later becomes a paved road. Turn right and follow the marks until you reach the BLT (Baskinta Literary Trail) sign. Then walk towards the Monastery of Saydet el Niyah and cross the main street, continuing until you reach the water canal. Then follow it past the ancient tombs beside the main trail and continue walking along it. This is the difficult part of the passage. Go through a small umbrella pine forest and then walk downhill on a dirt road to reach the Sannine water factory. Pass by in front of it and cross a stream flowing from some springs to other side of the valley, taking a partially-concealed path. When you reach the dirt road, continue walking until you arrive at the paved road which is the main Bakich – Baskinta road.
