⛰️Have you ever explored the city of Idyllwild? Located just 1 hour and 20 minutes from the Sky Valley & Caliente Springs, it's the perfect place if you're looking to get out and explore the fresh pines, cooler air, & mountain hiking.
We've picked 3 sites that are a must see
🥾#1 is Lake Fulmor! It's an easy trail that is about .5 miles long. It takes about 12 minutes to walk the loop but it's the perfect place for some easy tranquil walking that is great for bird watching.
🥾#2 is The Ernie Maxwell Scenic Trail. It's an easy 2.6 mile hike that begins at 6400 ft. and crosses seasonal streams along the way. There are also good views of Suicide and Lily Rocks. It takes about 2 hours to hike.
🥾#3 trail on our list is the Idyllwild Nature Center. There are picnic tables, a butterfly garden, and nature tours you can schedule in advance. It's perfect for all ages! There is also a 1 mile hike around the nature center.
