Just outside of Lake Santee, this is one of our favorite places to hang out. The pizza is excellent, the prices are reasonable, but the people are really fun to be around. Live bands on most Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays depending on their schedule.

Downtown Greensburg has a square that goes around the courthouse. Our courthouse has an actual tree growing in it, which is different! There are several stores, antique shops, restaurants, coffee houses, and a new brewery all very near the downtown courthouse.

Lake Santee is a private lake community that is open to the public. Driving around the lake is a beautiful trip and well worth the time. We are members and would be able to share lots of tips if you are interested in visiting the lake.

Oldenburg is an old German town known for the spires. It's really the closest thing we have to visiting Germany without crossing the Atlantic ocean. They have an event that is much like Octoberfest in July called Freudenfest - with lots of live bands and good family fun.

North Branch Golf course is a great place to play golf locally. The prices are very reasonable and there are 3 different sets of 9 holes to play so you can change things up.
