The coffee is INCREDIBLE! If you are a coffee addict and appreciate the art behind coffee making then this is it. Unique drinks and a great little space for kids to hang out. The owner is wonderful and happy to talk about how she roasts the beans and creates the drinks.

Great place to try some Dutch favorites and have a fun atmosphere! I personally love the burgers and frites. They are also known for their pofferjies that are a huge hit (think mini pancakes). Highly addictive and will keep you coming back!

There is a local dispute about which bakery is better, Jaarsmas or Vanderploog. Well, I love Jaarsmas and I worked there in college so I am bias! It’s a Pella staple and you have to stop by and try it all, then take a box home! They are know for Dutch letters which are incredible! I love the Carmel tarts, strudels, puff pillows and the Bismarcks are super sweet but amazing!

This place is open for lunch downstairs during the day and does dinner dinning upstairs (rooftop patio is open seasonally and has cool views). For lunch: homemade options like wraps, sandwiches and the best soup. At night: great drink options that are unique and amazing (try the Dutch letter martini), the food is good as well and it can be a casual setting. I would recommend doing drinks and appetizers here!

There are two great meat shops in town and this one is my favorite. They have such a great selection of meat and cheeses and they are know for their beef sticks and beef jerky (expensive but worth it)!

One of my favorites places to dine! Great, seasonal specials and can be a little nicer. So if you need a date night or a nice meal this is your place or stop in for drinks and appetizers! The chef is top notch and they also own several very well known restaurants in Des Moines as well!

The best Bloody Mary for sure! This local staple has won tons of awards for their Iowa only beers and their atmosphere. They have an outdoor patio (seasonal) that they have live music on the weekends at (check their Facebook page). If you are into craft beers then this place is the dream!

This is our “speak easy” in Pella. Super cool place that has weekly specials and hand crafted drinks! They offer small plates that are divine and offers a very cozy and unique atmosphere. I strongly recommend reservations on the weekends (check out their Facebook pace). This is hidden in DutchFix up on the square, you go in and find the door with the lions head and head to the basement!
