Cool, small local hard cidery just minutes down the road. Enjoy pints or a $12 tasting flight of 6 different ciders on site, and you can buy 3 different sized growler to take away. We like the cranberry-infused flavor best, and the beer cider is a wild ride for your taste buds. “Orchard Girls ciders are built on a strong base of high quality, locally sourced fruit from the great state of Maine. Combinations of Macintosh, Spencer, Macoun and Clapps lay the foundation upon which the various recipes are constructed. Only pure and organic elements are used to craft their products. In keeping with the ‘old world’ style of cider making, Orchard Girls ciders are dry and still (not bubbly).”

A+ diner-style, hearty, affordable breakfast! Have you always dreamed of being a Mainer lumberjack; waking up to the rooster’s crow, filling your belly with a hearty breakfast and swinging your axe all day? Well this place can’t make you Paul Bunyan, but it sure can make you feel like him. Grow a beard and head down to the Kingsfield Woodsman! Counter service breakfast with big fat pancakes, biscuits and gravy, friendly folks, etc.

Carrabassett Coffee Company is in the charming village of Kingfield, Maine just down the road from Sugarloaf ski resort. The sparkling Carrabassett River runs through the middle of town and we wouldn't want to live or work any place else. Carrabassett Coffee is a small-batch specialty roaster. We offer wholesale, mail order and retail. They roast only the highest grade beans and offer what they (and we) feel are some of the the finest single origin coffees available. If you've had coffee anywhere in the area, you've probably had Carrabassett Coffee Company, so go check out the roaster!

This historic, elegant inn JUST re-opened and has an amazing 5-course farm-to-table dinner! We went (by bike) on opening weekend and enjoyed a fantastic meal, beautiful historic setting (built 1890), friendly servers, and a great presentation by the chef. She refers to the cuisine as “Scanditerranean,” with a mix of Scandinavian and Mediterranean inspiration based on her family roots. It’s delicious and a very memorable experience. Find more info and make reservations on their website.
