Roihuvuori Elementary School, designed by architect, professor Arno Ruusuvuori, is one of Helsinki's significant landmarks. The building, which represents the brutalist style, was completed in 1967. The school was going to be dismantled, until it was decided to completely renovate. The building is considered a high-class example of modern concrete architecture.
