Over one kilometre ribbon of sand shelters tiny North Beach from Lake Ontario. The sandy beach is a great place to picnic on a hot summer day. You can swim or boat in the sheltered waters of the bay or the more open Lake Ontario. North Beach tends to be less busy than Sand Banks, but can still be quite populated in the summer.
