It is a really beautiful lagoon, where I’m pretty sure you can have a nice time.
The lagoon is just 15 minutes from the apartment, it is really beautiful, I recommend you to go the earliest posible because the sun, bring water and snacks ;)

I recommend you to get there from boca paila, early in the morning around 9:00 you can park your car a couple of blocks from the entrance without paying anything.
