Located just down the road from the lake house, this food truck has some of the best barbecue I have ever had. Don’t leave until you have had some Hannah’s Barbecue.

Highport is much more upscale and also has a couple of great restaurants (The Island, Big Daddy’s), which overlook the bay/marina. The Island restaurant is great for a sunset dinner.

Hiking - Eisenhower State Park is about a 15 min drive from the house. There are numerous trails and sights to see. There is lake access, excellent fishing, and wildlife ---. If you plan on hiking there I would recommend calling and reserving a spot.

50 Park Rd 20Hiking - Eisenhower State Park is about a 15 min drive from the house. There are numerous trails and sights to see. There is lake access, excellent fishing, and wildlife ---. If you plan on hiking there I would recommend calling and reserving a spot.
Hiking- Prothro Center At Lake Texoma is about a 3 min drive from the house. Parking is near the pool. The pool and Lakeside have an hourly rate charge , but the trails can be used for public use. It's okay to walk down to the lakeside and explore-you might even catch sight of a beaver, but please note that the pool and lakeside lounge area are for rental use only. The entrance to the main trail is across the road from the pool. There is another trail called Bamboo Forest that is directly east from the pool on the same side. Prothro holds some of our favorite trails!
