One of York's indie classics, Spark is a container city which features some of York's best breweries and independent shops. Kind of like a micro festival we recommend that Spark is part of any night out!

Even in winter, the Museum Gardens are a beautiful little surprise in the middle of the city centre. Located right next to the river, the gardens are open to the public and free to use. If you fancy a picnic or a quick stroll after lunch these are perfect! The gardens also connect to the riverbanks of the Ouse so for the more keen walkers you can carry on to walk along the river.
