Family friendly spots
Idyllwild town and nearby parks are super kid friendly. Restaurants are casual and welcoming. Check out the Nature Center or Idyllwild Regional Park for family-friendly walks and nature. These are also great places to play in snow during winter. In terms of trails, I recommend Ernie Maxwell. Note that many trails are steep with high altitudes so think twice before you take little ones up.
