*****UPDATE: CAUTION***** Bridge under construction. Access to other side of the river is no longer feasible in a circular walk. ***
A lovely, slightly uphill climb from the Main Street in Callander. Follow a short woodland walk and signs until you begin to make your descent down to the Keltie Bridge overlooking the falls. Plenty of spots to take photos, have a rest, picnic or read. Walk across the bridge to explore more of the falls and the woodland. If you want a longer walk, follow the path with a moderate uphill climb in the woods, crossing over another bridge and making your way back to the falls (about 1-1.5 hours roundtrip).

A lovely, nearly 3 mile round trip walk to the next village, passing The Falls of Leny, along the old Oban-Callander Railway Path. Moderate climb. 2 to 3 hours up and down. There is a carpark at the bottom, however parking space can be limited. If you decide, it’s only a couple of miles from Calendar itself on foot. Absolutely stunning views from the top. If there is cloud and rain, please make sure that you are adequately fitted out with, boots, waterproofs et cetera.

Consejos para la ciudad

Qué debes empacar

Hiking/walking boots + clothes for all weather

There is so much walking to be done around Callander and the surrounding area. We'd recommend bringing some proper hiking or walking boots, as it can get quite muddy when a bit wet. Also, the weather can change so a waterproof jacket and clothing for all weather. Layering is definitely the way to go. :)
