A beauty. One of our 900 lakes we can actually drive to! 3 trailheads to hike, or bring your kayak/canoe to fish or sightsee. 1 hr. very scenic drive (last 30 min is bumpy) from the cabin.

Great hike to Mystic Lake (moderate level) 3 miles. Approx. 1 hr. scenic drive from cabin. A couple of other lakes can be visited on your drive near the trailhead.

What can we say about YNP? Epic, treasure, this first National Park. A long day but doable from the cabin. Closer and more scenic to go through Red Lodge and over the Beartooth pass.

What can we say about YNP? Epic, treasure, this first National Park. A long day but doable from the cabin. Closer and more scenic to go through Red Lodge and over the Beartooth pass.
Without a doubt, one of the most scenic and dramatic roads in the US. If your in this part of Montana after Memorial Day (when it opens), this is a must do driving trip from Red Lodge to the northeast entrance of YNP. You will climb to just under 11,000 feet . Lakes , waterfalls, mountain goats and lots of snow. Very safe road. No time to go the entire hour to Yellowstone? - make sure you go to at least the West Summit (the highest point)

Without a doubt, one of the most scenic and dramatic roads in the US.
