A family friendly casual restaurant owned by a wonderful Italian family. The pizzas are amazing and so is the gelato. There is a great jungle gym for the kids. It’s important to book on weekends and they close at 16:00.

Enricos has the best seafood and the most amazing views of the beach and sea. It’s important to go when the weather is good and make sure to be there at 12:00 during busy season. A ten min drive outside of Plett but it’s very scenic and worth the drive. Take a walk on the beach before or after your meal. They have live music on a Sunday afternoon.

Sightseeing
This is my favorite place on Earth. Small boats are available to hire at the Plett Angling club- anyone can hire them and take them up river. Take a small picnic with you and stop along one of the beaches and enjoy the serenity and natural beauty. In the warmer months the water is so warm. There are also braai spots on some of the beaches so take your charcoal and meat too.
Burnt Orange, the restaurant at the angling club is also a great place for breakfast, lunch or dinner.

If you are athletic, then hiking Robberg is an absolute must! The scenery is out of this world! The half walk takes about and hour and 30 min- which is plenty for me. The full loop is pretty tough. Just taking a quick walk to “the gap” is also a nice option. Make sure to have athletic shoes, water and a light jacket if you are planning on hiking.
We often just have an early evening braai at Robberg. The braai spots and picnic tables are right on the parking lot and the views are phenomenal. It’s even worthwhile to grab a take away and some drinks and head up to take in the splendid views. It’s best when it’s clear and not too windy.
