These are the local beaches we recommend - some that are a walk or short bike ride away, others that you’ll need to to drive to (but they’re SO worth it)!
This small, quiet beach is 0.7 mi from Seahorse Cottage and features gentle waves. Ride the bikes we provide down to the beach, or bring the provided beach wagon if you’d rather walk. If you choose to drive there is a parking g lot at the beach.

South Village Beach

One of the most beautiful beaches on the cape (and in the entire country)! Soft sand, calm shallow bay waters and amazing tide pools to explore. The beach is long and deep so there’s plenty of space to spread out.
The sunsets are amazing - we often go just to watch the amazing pink and orange skies as the sun drops behind the horizon.

Mayflower Beach

The perfect beach for young kids. Shallow, calm waters are perfect for toddlers and new swimmers. During low tide you can explore the tide pools and look for hermit crabs. There’s even a food stand to grab lunch, snacks and drinks - and a small playground.
During summer months arrive early to get a parking spot!

Corporation Beach
The perfect beach for young kids. Shallow, calm waters are perfect for toddlers and new swimmers. During low tide you can explore the tide pools and look for hermit crabs. There’s even a food stand to grab lunch, snacks and drinks - and a small playground.

No trip to Cape Cod is complete without fresh New England seafood, backyard grilling and some ice cream cones to top it off. These are some of our favorite local spots.
Local coffee shop features locally roasted espresso and drip coffee, tea, snacks/gifts. Plenty of seating makes this a great spot to enjoy a drink and plan the rest of your day.
