Excellent short trail for families with slot canyon, dinosaur tracks, pictographs and cacti. In the spring there is an amazing waterfall here. Always great for climbing. Family favorite so don't go on a weekend!

Splash pads!
There are great splash pads in the area. Look for the one in downtown Hurricane near the Wells Fargo. Also head into St. George and go to Thunderjunction! This one is pretty epic with a fake volcano that goes off every 20 minutes.

Rattlesnakes and Scorpions
While rattlesnakes and scorpions may seem scary, for the most part they are not interested in you and will leave you alone. A scorpion sting is more like a wasp bite and not lethal. That said, empty shoes out if you are camping before putting on.
Rattlesnakes are often found on the trails but they will stay away from you. If you see one just back away and go around it. If they have just eaten or are cold, they really won't move. If they feel threatened they will rattle as a warning. Keep dogs on leash if they chase things and haven't had a rattlesnake shot.
