This is a special place. There is curve of beach and the arms of a harbour, wild flowers in the margin between farms and shore. An inlet pulls and pushes the water into the fjord. Wait on the bridge with a fishing net to catch crabs, wade into the sea for mackerel, walk to the end of the pier and swim as far as you can. Rent a kayak and paddle along the coast. Follow the inlet to the fjord to watch birds and sunsets. Rest, rest, rest under the wide generosity of apple trees.
