The Duck at Marlfield (expensive, but a treat for a coffee)
The Strand at Cahore, great spot for the kids with the pier and beach right there.
The Cosy Cottage Cafe, Esmonde Street Gorey. Little yard behind, their salads and vegetarian foods are best.
The Lavender Farm, nice outside courtyard. Haven't been this season but in previous years the food was disappointing but the place nice!

There's a lovely bistro at Marlfield called THE DUCK. It has a great menu with a beautiful garden, terrace and restaurant in a converted coach house. If you're willing to splash out, go here and you are fond of a nice environment go here. The food is good but perhaps could be improved for the prices they charge. They only do lunch and dinner, no snacks and one must eat a minimum of 2 courses for lunch and 3 for dinner. Ask when booking. Service can be slow. Essential to book.
