In an hour’s drive across the border, you’ll find yourself in Canada’s wine country. There are a ton of wineries all within a stone’s throw of each other. The downtown area is filled with boutique shops, bars and eateries. Around Christmastime, they have a fantastic Christmas market.

If you're heading to Buffalo, don't forget to check out Elmwood Village. Elmwood Avenue is dotted with an assortment of local boutique shops, restaurants, bars, coffee shops, and a wonderful Farmers Market on Saturdays in the summer. Take a walk down Elmwood Ave between Lafayette Ave and Ferry St !
