The Farm House is the trendiest local pub; it's a 5 minute drive into historic West Malling. As well as the pub itself, there is a pizzeria in the outdoor area and a cocktail place. Locally, the place to be at the weekend.

Lovely little pub in nearby Offham - just a 5 minute drive. It's small, but with a nice menu and a small outdoor area overlooking the historic village green. They are into their coffee as much as their ales here.
On Wednesdays there is a great pizza van outside. The pub has quiz nights from time to time too.

Walks
Local walks with a view.
Google nearby 'Amber Lane' and you will arrive at an entrance to the local woods. A nice walk in itself, but you can find yourself at Tea at Hilltop of The North Pole pub. This may require some good fortunate or some instructions from another walker without the aid of Google Maps though!
