Venezuelan bar with fantastic arepas, empanadas, and very cold beer! Try the Mariscada (seafood soup) or tostones. Not too crowded and they're always showing the soccer game!

Traditional French menu but very Brooklyn vibes. Great atmosphere and friendly staff. Only beer and wine. Its a quick Lyft to get her but worth the trip. We like sitting at the bar. They have brunch too!

Lovely home goods shop on Tompkins Ave. Yummy candles, bath & body stuff, books, posters, home decor and gifty things. Love to stop in here after I've gotten coffee at Sincerely, Tommy.

Prospect Park is a 526 acre public park in the heart of Brooklyn. In fact, it is to Brooklyn what Central Park is to Manhattan, and was designed by the same architects in 1867. Pass through Grand Army Plaza at one end and see the Brooklyn Botanic Gardens and Brooklyn Museum at the other.

There are basketball courts, bike paths, places to eat, and grass to sit on! You can hop one the ferries headed to Williamsburg, Greenpoint, Manhattan, or the Rockaways. Or join the throngs of pedestrians/ bikers headed over the Brooklyn Bridge.
