Parks & Nature
Cramond Island has a neat little quirk to it that you can only get on it when the tide is low. The following link shows you the tide times: http://www.queensferrylifeboat.co.uk/safe-crossing-times. You can do a walk along the River Almond (starting from where the A90 motorway crosses the river). The end of the walk is at Cramond Beach where the River Almond meets the Firth of Forth.

I've actually never been but it looks like its been recently renovated so is looking nice. In any case is really local. Might as well give it a go if you're looking for somewhere close by.
