Swimming, diving, snorkelling, lazy days on the beach. Opito bay has plenty for you to do. If you walk to the end of the beach, you will find a walkway that leads you to a beautiful viewpoint.

Matarangi beach, you can walk or bike here by taking the coastal road through Rings Beach and along the old road. A lovely 10km return walk. Stop for a coffee or an ice block at the dairy in town.

About a 6 hour hike up to an incredible viewpoint. If you are staying for a couple days, and haven't completed this hike yet, we would 100% recommend!
About an hour drive from Kuaotunu is the start of the hike, and if you start in the morning, you will be done by early afternoon.

About a 6 hour hike up to an incredible viewpoint. If you are staying for a couple days, and haven't completed this hike yet, we would 100% recommend!

Walk out from the house and cross the green and you will sink your hands in to white, hot sand. Take the kayaks out and if you are lucky, the local dolphins might come out to play. Spend the day popping in between lazing about on the beach and swimming in the crystal clear water.
