At nautilus Cooking Class, you'll be able to shop at the market, cook authentic srilankan food, and eat eight favorite Srilankan dishes. The day will be divided into two parts that will have exploring the biggest fresh markets (Greenmarket,Fishmarket)in City of Galle —where you shop for fresh ingredients before you cook them. Then, take Tuk-Tuk back to the cooking school. The cooking class will be conducted in nice seaview balcony where you will be introduced to Srilankan exotic ingredients, including vegetables, spices, and herbs. Normally, safaris start from the park's main entrance, and if some guests want to be picked up from their hotel we will do it free of charge within 2 km of the park entrance. First, your driver will escort you to the ticket counter to purchase the entrance tickets. After the purchasing tickets, we can enter in to the park and our driver will escort you to the grassland of the park to hopes seeing the wild elephants, foxes, deers, buffalos and other animals.  During the safari, our guide will help you see the different types of birds like The driver will then take you to the banks of the tumbling Udawalawa reservoir, with beautiful mountains in the background. Hike to see the sunrise at little Adams peak mountain. WHAT WE'LL DO: In order to grab the best, we'll pick you around 5.30 AM in the morning from any hotel/villa you staying around Ella. First we will drive to hiking start point Ella Little Adam's Peak. Little Adams peak is the best place to see the Ella gap and the plain continues to the southern coast of Sri Lanka. This is more than a hike and you will learn much on flora and fauna, history and folklore of Sri Lanka and Ella too. Little Adam`s Peak. Join me as we discover the beauty of Sri Lankan hill country. We will pick you up from your hotel in Kandy and begin our journey to the hill country capital Nuwara Eliya. We will journey along the great Mahaweli river, the longest river in Sri Lanka. Dotted along the river, we will see the famous tea plantations. Our first stop is the two waterfalls, Ramboda Ella and Gerandi Ella. Ramboda Ella waterfall is a spectacular 109 m high and is the 11th highest waterfall in Sri Lanka. The next stop is Labukele Tea factory where we will witness how the finest tea Ceylon tea is made from leaves on a tea plant to a cup of tea. After a refreshing cup of tea, our journey continues to Nuwara Eliya city. With its stunning landscape and temperate climate, Nuwara Eliya is known as little England. The city was built in colonial times for the tea plantation industry, thereby many of the buildings retain features of British colonial architecture. Examples are the town post office, the Grand Hotel, Hill Club, and the golf club. Finally, we will enjoy a walk around the beautiful Lake Gregory that graces the foothills of Nuwara Eliya. We will then head back to Kandy.

I’d be honored to be your guide showing you my hometown Kandy from a local’s point of view. I will take you on a spectacular drive through the Sacred City of Kandy, now a popular UNESCO World Heritage Site. Let’s explore some amazing sights together as you get to know my hometown: We will visit the Sacred Temple of the Tooth, situated in the Royal Palace Complex of the former Kingdom of Kandy, I’ll drive you to the Queen's Bathing Pavilion, the National Museum of Kandy, the Buddhist Temple on the top oft he hill and a breathtaking view! On the way to a tea plantation we will come across one of my favorite spots - the banks of the river Mahawali. We will definitely see some monkeys on our day together - with some luck we might even spot a jaguar in the distance along the river. I suggest we grab some food at a local restaurant - at your own expense. Please make sure to bring drinking water, as tourists often don’t take our tap water well. I’ve got these favorite spots but of course if you have any preferences or places you’d like to see that aren’t mentioned above - just let me know and I’ll make sure to incorporate them into our day together. This activity will be conducting in the morning to experience the sunrise or in the evening to experience the sunset along with a bird watching tour. Pick up can be arranged you from the place mentioned and can arrange to drop to the same location afterwards(extra cost involved depending on how far you from the meeting point). The meeting/starting time for the sessions at meeting point are as follow; Morning session-5:30 a.m. Evening session-5:00 p.m. We are using a catamaran and you can sit on the deck before starting the activity. I will tell you the stories about the history behind Sigiriya and Pidurangala when those places were occupied by the King Kashyapa (473-491 AD) and also by the monks.
