“Safari Park: This attraction features a specific focus on animals from arid environments. It’s a larger park in size which requires more walking between exhibits, but a guided safari-like ride is included with admission. It’s located a 45-60 minute drive outside of San Diego, and there are more upgrades available for up-close animal encounters and enhanced experiences. Exhibits & Attractions: -Africa Tram: Take a 20-30 minute ride on the covered, open-air tram to see lots of animals, including giraffes, rhinos, and more. -Elephant Valley: Visit the park’s elephants and catch an educational talk at the amphitheater to learn about elephant care and see their abilities. -Gorilla Exhibit: Get an unobstructed view of the large and active gorilla family. -Lion Camp: See lions interact and play in their open space den. -Cheetah Run: The famous cheetah run, where visitors can watch Shiley the cheetah race 330-feet and reach speeds of up to 70-miles per hour. -Tiger Trail: Follow the guided trail through the bamboo forest and see several Sumatran tigers along the way. -Petting Kraal: Kids and adults can take their turn petting and brushing the gentle resident goats in their enclosure. Upgrades & Interactive Experiences -Caravan Safari: Ride in an open-air safari truck as you journey out into two different field enclosures to see the animals up close. -Cheetah Safari: Here is where you can see the famed Shiley, star of the cheetah run. -Cart Safari: Choose from a tour of either African Plains or Asian Savanna that you can enjoy on board a safari cart. -Jungle Ropes Safari: Climb around an exhilarating ropes course for 90 minutes as you simulate what it’s like to scramble through the treetops just like a monkey. -Flightline Safari: Soar along two zip lines high above the animal enclosures — providing the ultimate in bird’s eye views of the critters below. -Behind-the-Scenes Safari: Explore keeper-only areas of the park to learn about how these all-important members of the park staff care for their animals. -Roar and Snore Safari: Choose from multiple different sleepover options to craft the perfect “camping at the park” experience. -Ultimate Safari: This exclusively personalized, day-long adventure around the park showcases the best of the attraction, from animal encounters to behind-the-scenes tours.”

Baseball Stadium
“If you like to get a good view of the entire park, the scoreboard and downtown San Diego - and be a bit higher up to see all the action on the field - I would recommend the Toyota Terrace (second level). I favor the first base line - somewhere between home plate and just past first base. Sometimes I buy cheaper tickets and move around the stadium, enjoying different seats and views. You can also purchase 'park at the park' tickets and lie on the grass, just beyond the outfield. the views are obstructed, but it's a very enjoyable, relaxing scene.”

“OB Noodle House comes from humble beginnings in the heart of Ocean Beach. Having immigrated from Southeast Asia through a sponsor family, the Yeng brothers grew up in OB working at his parents’ donut shop, OB Donuts. When the opportunity to open a restaurant of their own arrived, OB Noodle House was founded with a simple mission: simple, delicious meals, served quickly. Now with two locations, the original on Cable Street, and Bar 1502 on Niagara Avenue, as well as a music hall on Newport Avenue, the OB Noodle House family has become a mainstay in Ocean Beach, always giving back to the community that supported the Yeng family so much the past few decades. OB Noodle House is known for our signature pho bowls and Asian-fusion dishes. Featured on the Food Network’s Diners, Drive-ins, and Dives, it’s the meal Guy Fieri says “You’re going to have a pretty tough time finding it this good.” If you don’t take Guy’s word for it, check out our our 4+ Star Yelp reviews, 4.5 Stars on Trip Advisor, or 4.4 rating on Zagat!”
