“Mama’s Fish House is a seafood eatery- Maui icon. Family owned and operated since 1973, the Paia restaurant has won numerous accolades, such as placing eighth on TripAdvisor's list of the top 10 fine dining restaurants in America and being recognized as a James Beard Award semifinalist in the outstanding restaurant category. The freshest seafood presented in such an unforgettable atmosphere to make any "Foodie" swoon with delight.”

National Park
“This national Park is a must see while here on Maui. It’s about an hour drive from our cottage a lot of people like to reserve a spot for viewing the sunrise. But I don’t find that totally necessary going there anytime of day is beautiful and you don’t have to make a reservation to go for the afternoon or sunset. You can hit up the lavender farm while you’re up there as well.”

Aquarium
“ The Maui Ocean Center was named as one of the top twenty-five aquariums in the United States. One visit to this extraordinary underwater world, and you will quickly discover just why. Be sure to put some time aside to visit the Maui Ocean Center. The center has over sixty outdoor and indoor exhibits designed to educate visitors about our Pacific waters, as well as about the Hawaiian culture. This beautiful aquarium features a 750,000 galleon tank with a walk-through tunnel; it is filled with sharks, sting rays, and a large assortment of tropical fish. The aquarium also features a turtle lagoon and a surge zone, a shallow reef and open ocean exhibits. After a relaxing day exploring the Maui Ocean Center, stop by the award winning Seascape Restaurant. Enjoy a refreshing Mai Tai or Cucumber Watermelon-Rita as you take in the ocean views and reflect on your exciting day! Guided tours are available, as well as shark dives in the aquarium`s tank (for certified divers only).”

“Best breakfast on the island! Very reasonable prices, delicious and fast food on the patio. It looks a little rough but this is an institution on the island! My favorite breakfast is the #8 fried rice with eggs. All the food is great and also kids choices are fun and tasty.”

Parque
“The most sacred place on Maui. Come here to learn about the Hawaiian history of Iao Valley, take a short hike to view the famous Iao "needle," or a longer hike into the valley. You can take a dip in the stream, picnic in the picnic area boasting pavilions and several little structures and gardens created to resemble the styles of various cultures of the early settlers here. This is a very special place! If you do not have a Hawaiian ID, there is a $5/car fee to park. You do not need to dedicate a whole day here, but we highly suggest not missing it. Schedule an hour one morning to check it out before continuing on with your day. :)”

“While we love the close proximity to Charles Young beach, there are two other great beaches in walking distance from our unit. Of the three, we really enjoy Kam III for its soft sand and swimmer-friendly waters. It's also the largest of the Kihei beaches and is nearby lots of great shops and restaurants.”
