“Sand Harbor Beach on the North East side of the lake is one of the most beautiful beaches on Lake Tahoe! It is pretty small but absolutely beautiful and there are rock formations in the water to explore and jump off. Parking is VERY limited and there is no parking on the highway within a few miles so you MUST get there by 7:30-8AM to get in the lot! You can park on the highway a few miles away but it is quite a hike along the side of the highway and not ideal. ”
