“The Bean in Dingle crew are the best in the business. The place opens at 8 and closes at 5. Great coffee and the black pudding sausage rolls are amazing, but sell out quickly. ”

“Fresh, bright and groovy place to have a reasonable coffee and a very healthy, fresh light bite for brekkie/lunch. These lads have really poured a lotta love into this place and the menu. The decore is so alive with colour and local artist has some colourful frames on display around the walls. If you can make it to the garden on a sunny day - there is no better spot!”

“This is a Take Away shop of delicious proportions.... Great take away coffee - from Cork roasters Dodo and Badger. Mouthwatering cakes and slices made fresh daily - my favourite last month was the lemon curd slice... but everything is delish The delicatessan lines are beautiful - olives, sundried toms, fresh tangy salads... Now the boutique chocolates are to die for.... and therein lies my spare tyre... and its not on the car!! Only go there if you need more calories!!! ”

Café
“Bácús is a scratch bakery on the Dingle Peninsula specialising in Irish and European artisan breads that are finished by hand and baked in our stone-floored deck ovens. Bacus use fresh ingredients avoiding preservatives and additives. These handcrafted breads are hearty looking and somewhat rustic with a deep golden crunchy crust, a soft airy crumb and a very distinct taste and texture. Their white and wholewheat sour dough is now the only bread I eat! There is also a sunny back garden area for a hot cuppa and a light bite!”

“Lunchtime must do. She has the best Seafood Chowder not just in Dingle but in Europe!!! It is amazing and full of seafood and scrumptious flavour. Also her gluten free fish and chips are wonderful... not to mention the delicious home cooked cakes she bakes fresh every night. This is where the locals eat breakfast/lunch.. a good sign! ”

Café
“This unpretentious, always-busy cafe serves top quality bistro food as well as breakfast pancakes and fry-ups – the signature seafood chowder is tasty, but lunch specials such as homemade crab tart, open sandwich of roast pork belly and stuffing, or mussels in garlic sauce are just superb. If it's sunny, try to bag one of the pavement tables.”
