“Gourmet cuisine and streetfood. Tip: take your food and drinks to Isreals Plads across the street on a sunny day. Tip2: ask for a "real glass" rather than a plastic one - normally you pay a small deposit that you get back when you return the glass.”

“At Café Bang & Jensen, the atmosphere is cosy and relaxed, and you will feel instantly at home among the quaint lamps and odd unmatched chairs. On sunny days, it can be tricky to find a table outside, but inside the café there are plenty of old sofas and armchairs to choose from. Between 08:00 and 10:00 you can tuck into a delicious breakfast buffet. After 10:00 you can make individual brunch orders: hard- or soft-boiled eggs, organic coffee or green rhubarb tea. The café has a wireless hotspot if you need to get your laptop online.”

“Nice breakfast - you select 3-7 small dishes. Also good for sharing. You might need to wait outside for a table (but it's worth it). The staff will write your name up and call your name when the table is ready.”

“Old church turned into a community center. Common eating at 6 every day for only 50kr - come early though, it sells out everyday - families, grandmothers, teenagers, hipsters and all sorts of people come there to eat. You can also sit down there in the daytime, have a coffee, play cards or ping pong, work on the computer or do some yoga. Nice place.”

“This place is amazing for brunch, but do note that during weekends, it can be up to 45min waiting time, for a table. It is worth it though! Also great bakery with bread, Danishes and also “real food” like quiches, meat balls e.g.”
