“My favorite place for brunch or afternoon/ morning pastries. It’s got a European feel but they don’t take reservations, so get there early! Parking is limited.”

“They have 2 locations, but I love this one. This is a CVILLE favorite and has been around forever. It's absolutely yummy, and the owners are long time friends. Dave and Christy are awesome!”

“OKAY, some of my friends roll their eyes when I bring up La Taza, but I can't get enough of their breakfast tacos and breakfast potatoes. If you're here on the weekend and are willing to wait a little while (because they are usually busy), it's worth the wait. If you're lucky and you are here during the week, you'll have no problem getting a table or placing a take-out order! If you want to enjoy a nice cold drink around a fire conversing with locals, check our the Tikki Bar at La Taza. It's an outside bar with a tropical theme and relaxed atmosphere in the heart of Belmont.”

“Yummy, inventive flavors abound at this cool gelato place. Located on the historic pedestrian mall. Grab a cone (I love the bambino- a tiny little cone with a tiny little scoop of gelato- I love the hazelnut- it’s the perfect little after-dinner dessert that satisfies your sweet tooth but doesn’t leave you feeling overfull)- grab a cone and stroll on the downtown mall. ”

“This requires a 5-10 minute drive or Uber ride, but is well worth it. A cute little cafe near the University, Oakhurst offers great lattes, delicious and interesting breakfast, brunch, and lunch options, all in a sweet refurbished old house. You’ll love the relaxed, hip vibe and the umbrella tables on the cute patio. ”
