This place had a breath taking view. And the big windows really let all the light in. It was amazing. Kim is real friendly and has a lot of interesting stories to share about his home. You can really tell he is proud of it. Needless to say, check-in took longer than I thought it would cause of that. The full bathroom is outdated. We tried to connect the portable heaters upstairs and the power went out in the room. One of the beds in the upstairs room is a pretty stiff. Furniture in the house is a little outdated/old. Kim let use his canoe and that was very kind of him. Overall It was a nice weekend with the girls.
The only downfall for me is cleanliness, and more so in regards to dust and odor. It’s has a very “thrift shop” scent, and I instantly got allergies from the dust. The sheets and blankets could have been cleaner. The house just smelled like a thrift store/nursing home. But scents are reallllly important to me. If that isnt for you, than this might be an outstanding place for you.
