I travel for work and I love it and my job. I am gone most of the time and this house was a dream to have a place that we can see the water, quiet and yet close enough to get to beaches and the enthusiasm of the tourists. The energy of the people is a great feeling because being on vacation is a great place to be, mentally and physically.
Life is a journey as they say, not a guided tour. I believe life is about attitude and timing.
My fiancée Nancy has envisioned the house and while I have helped, she pulled it all together within a week of settling on the house. Some of the furnishings are from our travels and has many memories attached to them. When you are not here visiting our home, we will be enjoying it ourselves. Take our ceiling fans as an example, I was working in Ft Worth in February and Nancy spent a day at the lighting and fan place. We have some unique fans and one that we saw in New Orleans, that we found locally. It was a fun adventure.
At some point, this will be our retirement home, though I don't think retirement is going to happen any time soon, unless we hit the lottery.
Remember, take some time to enjoy life now, enjoy the youth in us all and laugh out loud often. Life is too short to put off living it.
