We had a fantastic time in Ling & David's apartment. It is a very beautiful and peaceful setting in the hills with incredible views over Malibu. We enjoyed sitting on the deck each morning and evening, having breakfast and bbqs and watching the colours in the sky change. Undoubtedly one of the best Airbnb experiences we have ever had. Lind & David were very kind and helpful - thank you both for having us and for a wonderful 5 days in Malibu!

The appartment is so bright and yet so cosy! The view is so amazing, we would naturally wake up with the sunrise, and it was the best feeling. We did a few hikes around and also went twice to Malibu seafood which has amazing fresh seafood. We will definitly come back and stay in this place next time. We felt so connected with the nature around, and the house was so comfortable!

First off, as many others have stated, the pictures don't do this place justice. The views are THAT incredible. Each room and window offers sprawling, panoramic views of the Pacific Ocean and the Malibu mountainside in which the house rests. Again, simply unbelievable views. Inside, the house has all the amenities you'll need (stovetop, microwave, coffee maker, ironing board, etc). Towels and linens were stocked and aside from the food you'll bring, everything else is there for you and ready at your leisure. Outside, the grounds are beautiful with fruit hanging from the trees and tons of luscious vegetation surrounding the perimeter of the home. As for the drive up to the house, it's certainly steep and very narrow. But I actually enjoyed the drive to and from the beach every day and thought it wasn't bad at all. Not nearly as steep and treacherous as some other reviewers noted(URL HIDDEN)If I'm going to nitpick at all - and even this is a stretch - I would say that if you're given the chance to stay at either the top or bottom bungalow, the top is probably the better decision. Only because you have direct access to the amazing deck that overlooks the canyons and mountainside. We were lucky enough to not have anyone staying upstairs when we were there, so we were able to use the deck, anyway....but access is difficult from the bottom bungalow whereas there are doors leading right in to the top unit. It's probably worth spending the extra cash to stay there. Lastly, the bottom unit was a tad warm the first day we got there, but the nights were pefect and it was even chilly by the third day. All in all, this is a fabulous house with insane views and Ling and David are top notch hosts who were incredibly easy to communicate with from beginning to end. Cannot recommend enough.

Gorgeous place with amazing sweeping views of the Pacific - there's really nothing like waking up to this beauty. Ling & David were excellent at communicating check-in instructions far in advance and the drive up was really easy. Place is actually quite close to most of the amenities and restaurants close by. We had a lovely time hiking in the national forests and walking around the beaches. Things to note - this is outdoors / indoors living as in do not leave anything (food, sweets, etc out) or the bugs (in our case ants) will go after them. I had a honey face mask (sealed) out in the bathroom and they were all over it in just a day's time and later that evening there were a stream of ants going from one wall to the other (kitchen to bedroom - not related to food being out I think they were just travelling from Point A to B). Ling was very responsive in pointing out the bug spray under the kitchen sink gets rid of them but we were surprised to find these visitors nonetheless so be mindful and keep your stuff sealed (maybe put it all in the fridge). We had a lovely time and look back on Malibu fondly - highly recommend.

Great location, great view, very accommodating hosts. We loved billionaire's beach, Nobu, pier, Cafe Lux and Malibu farm restaurant. All great recommendations from Ling and David. A great three day relaxation and unwind appartment.

magnifique lieu avec vue sur le pacifique, au calme mais tout de même à 10/15 minutes de la plage ( en voiture ), nous étions une famille (4) et peut être aurions nous dû réserver la maison qui est plus grande que ce loft pour un peu plus d'intimité. Les hôtes sont charmants, serviables et très réactifs, n'hésitez plus !

Eine tolle Unterkunft mit fantastischer Aussicht. Alles war so wie bei airbnb beschrieben und abgebildet. Die Küche und das Bad sind voll ausgestattet. Die Kommunikation mit den Gastgebern klappt einwandfrei und zügig. Es war unser erster Tripp mit airbnb und wir werden es sicher wiederholen.
