We had a wonderful weeks stay in the Safari Tent. Beds and bedding very comfortable (would recommend bringing a hot water bottle though for chilly evenings, to be on the safe side). All our previous camping experiences were the basic pitch tent ones so the Safari Tent kitchenette was a luxury to say the least! Almost everything is provided so all we really needed to bring was food and clothing.
Although it's in a prime spot we weren't up for any hill walking but the farm was an excellent base for us to explore the surrounding tourist spots like Glenfinnan, Loch Ness and the wonderful Highland Wildlife Park...we even enjoyed a few days at the beach, taking advantage of the sunnier days that arrived.
The farm itself was easy to get to and is a fantastic set up especially for families, my children (in their early teens) both loved the trampoline and fell in love with all the animals but none more than the beloved farm dogs Hamish, Lucy and wee Archie. Don't think we've ever been made to feel so welcome by such friendly hosts! Our human hosts Robert and Margo were very warm and welcoming too and happy to help us out in any way should we have needed help, info etc.
Highlights for us were the stunning views from the farm, collecting fresh eggs for breakfast, bbq on the decking and hanging out with our new pals Lucy & Hamish.
A great glamping holiday in the Highlands, mòran taing!
