The Byre is a tranquil cottage ideally positioned to enjoy all Mid-Wales has to offer. Perfect for visitors wanting a peaceful break or an adventure. Dogs are welcome too! Picturesque hill walks are on the doorstep and nearby highlights include Snowdonia/Eryri, Powys Castle, Lake Vyrnwy and magnificent beaches; there are plenty of activities to suit everyone. Our cosy cottage has a fully equipped kitchen, bathroom with shower, one double bed and sitting room/diner with views across the valley.

This converted stable block is situated on the edge of the Snowdonia National Park making it an ideal base from which to explore the wonderful surroundings. A stone's throw from Zip World and a short walk from the Glyderau, Y Stabl is also an ideal base for those with an adventurous spirit. The mountain scrambles of the Ogwen Valley, rock climbs of the Llanberis Pass, the mountain bike trails of the Gwydir Forest and the beaches of Anglesey and the Llyn are all easily accessible by short drives.

There is an outdoor firepit/BBQ with table and bench to sit and eat, where you can take in the beautiful view. It's a perfect location for keen walkers and popular area for cyclist's.

Outdoor pursuits and many other activities are available in the Snowdonia National Park and along the beautiful North Wales Coast.

Dolfan Barn Studio is so named because an artist once worked here, prior to that it was a cow byre. Just under a mile out of the village of Beulah the Studio is a perfect place to unwind. You will find plenty of wildlife to watch from the patio including Pheasants Squirrels and Red Kites. The village has a service station, shop and "The Trout Cafe" serving good home cooked food. Take a local walk in the Ogwen valley, to Zip World or access climbing, walking, mountain biking and kayaking activities in Snowdonia directly from the cottage. A relaxing evening soak in the hot tub can be recommended.

There are numerous footpaths directly from the property, mountain biking and nearby riding stables. There is a village pub and shop and the ever popular Betws-y-Coed is only 4 miles away. Snowdon and Zip World are approximately 30 minutes drive. Go Below and Conwy Falls are close by.
