Walks for all abilities from our doorstep. Two medium sized dogs are welcome. Local pubs are dog friendly and we have lots of places to eat locally. There is phone signal & 4G but no Wifi so this place is like a retreat for you to truly unwind & relax, or use as a base for exploring the closeby stunning areas of the Yorkshire Dales & the Lake District. Two minutes from J35 off the M6 making it really easy to get to and get to other places too! There is also a beautiful canal walk straight from your log cabin to the local pub.

The Deer Lodge is one of three nearly identical lodges set in a quiet wooded corner of our 20 acre estate on the edge of the Yorkshire Dales. There are no roads bordering the guest areas so expect a quiet and peaceful stay, surrounded by nature and away from it all! The lodge has no cooking facilities but has a fridge with icebox as well as a selection of tea & coffee. We have a cosy indoor BBQ hut available to book for the evening with all cooking tools & charcoal provided.
