‘Beudy’r Esgob’ translates as ‘Bishop’s Barn’ and it used to be a hay barn and cow shed. It adjoins our 14th century farmhouse and lies in the village of Gwalchmai, Anglesey. We are within walking distance to Anglesey Show ground & air strip and 10 minutes drive from Rhosneigr and its beaches. We would be a super base for those visiting Anglesey Circuit at Tŷ Croes as we have plenty of parking space for car trailers. A perfect retreat for couples or a family of up to 6 for fun or romantic breaks. 2 dogs welcome. Most of our land is now fenced off so your dog can roam reasonably safely in 5 acres.

Relax with the whole family at this peaceful place to stay, with stunning views of the Snowdonia Mountain range and Gors Y Ddreiniog (Nature Reserve), which is only a few minutes walk away. Also a great place for cyclists as on a cycle route. Tresgawen Hall Hotel & Spa only 1mile away, local beaches 10minutes drive, Benllech, Lligwy and Red Wharf Bay, where you will also find lots of places to eat and drink. The Market town of Llangefni is a 10minute drive, for all the local amenities.

It is a truly tranquil retreat but is also perfectly located for those wishing to explore the island of Anglesey & the Snowdonia National Park is just 25 minutes away by car.

Enjoy a stay in this beautifully refurbished, 19th Century quarrymans cottage, tastefully updated to provide contemporary high quality accommodation. Featuring oak beams, the main living space is open plan having been divided in seperate areas with comfy seating, hand built kitchen and dining area. It's very well equipped with all you need fir a comfortable stay. The double and single bedrooms are at the rear of the property. The bathroom features a large walk in electric shower.

Our cabin is at the bottom of the garden - and behind that is a disused railway line - owls hoot of a night - wood pigeons coo - robins are nesting. The cabin has a double bed and a double bed settee to accommodate children. The cabin is self contained and energy efficient and environmentally friendly as is practical. The toilet, shower and sink run off harvested water that is stored and filtered before use. Flat screen TV with Netflix + hot tub
