Our modern tiny home is located on a small raspberry farm on the edge of the stunning Wombat Forest just out of Trentham, Victoria. Inside the home, you'll find a comfortable retreat complete with an indoor fireplace, kitchen with gas stovetop, fridge & day beds perfect for the ultimate relax and reset stay. We've also got a wood-fired sauna sitting on the large deck with a picturesque view of the Wombat State Forest. If you want to venture outside, there are walking tracks at your door stop.

The house is ideally located with an array of activities close by: Lake Eppalock 5 minutes away for all water activities. Heathcote Park Raceway is 15 minutes away and is a great venue for drag racing enthusiasts. The popular Axedale Golf Club is also 15 minutes away and is a fantastic course for the avid golfer. Cottage by the Lake

Set on 50 acres of farmland, this unique property boasts 2 large lakes with row boats - kayaks and beautiful gardens, abundance of wildlife and a serene and peaceful ambience. Your hosts, Ann & Kevin live in the main house, about 100 metres from the lake-side cottage and are available if needed, or can be very discreet. Built in 2024 as an extension to our sustainable house, there is a stylish full kitchen and bathroom. The cottage is lovely and light filled, charmingly decorated with modern conveniences . Beautiful views of the surrounding area and friendly locals to offer advice and great food if you choose to eat at their venues. This place is a gem and just a short drive from Melbourne.

Union House c.1861

Union House is a unique part of Castlemaine's history. Built in the early 1860's in the central area of the town, it is a minutes walk from all the town's attractions- the galleries, restaurants, hotels, theatre, boutiques, supermarket, and easy walking distance to the gardens, regional parks, railway station, and the Woollen Mill complex. Red Brick Barn overlooks Forest Creek and surrounding Goldfields heritage bushland. A walking track is at the door for a lovely walk to Wesley hill Saturday market or continue on to explore nearby Castlemaine with it's wonderful Architecture and vibrant café and arts culture. Red Brick Barn is an eclectic mix of European and Early Australian antiques, including French Industrial Furniture and Lighting, Turkish Kilims from Anatolia and rare "Depression" pieces.
