Nestled in the country on 6 acres, Shady Creek is located between Sparta and Cookeville, TN & surrounded by state parks! Enjoy Cherry Creek from the back deck or enjoy the sounds of our 2 waterfalls from the front porch. Just take the path to the side of our home and walk down to see the waterfalls for yourself. Enjoy all the wildlife (eagles, deer, foxes, turkeys, armadillos) that wander the property or start up the fire pit where you can relax with friends. No smoking inside & no pets allowed.

Welcome to God's country. Built from large oak beams, Fairview cabin sits on a 250-acre cattle farm with 360 degrees of beautiful views. Whether sitting on the front porch taking in the sunset or on the screened back porch admiring the old barn, there is no view that doesn't have something to offer. The cabin can accommodate up to 5 guests with plenty of room to spare. Enjoy 2 Queen bedrooms with private baths and a closet off of bedroom #1 with a single bed for a child or free loading cousin.

Shady primitive camp totally private, behind gates

Primitive means no electricity or bathroom. You can fill water containers at the farmhouse. You can bring an RV or a tent or anything in between. There is lots of extra room on the site if you are traveling with friends. The site is located near my farm house. We have large fields where you can hike, a beautiful stream to explore and miniature horses to pet. There is a 25 dollar/ pet fee which covers your entire stay here. See you soon!

1 king bed, 1 queen fold-out couch, dedicated workspace. Take it easy at this tranquil and cozy getaway surrounded by a sheep meadow, just 2 miles from I-40. Fishing pond available upon request. We are located just 15 minutes from the charming small town of Cookeville, TN. We are also near beautiful natural attractions, such as waterfalls and lakes. Cookeville is centrally located between Nashville, Knoxville, and Chattanooga.

On The Farm

Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway. Sit on the back deck and watch the sunset and see the animals play, or explore local state parks and waterfalls. You can also choose to join us in farm activities if you wish. Plant or pick produce, feed the chickens, sheep or goats, collect fresh eggs, or just walk around the farm. All while staying in our supper comfortable, updated, guest house with beautiful views and wifi.

The Cottage at NBF- 2.5 miles to Cummins Falls

The Cottage at Newton’s Bend Farm is a cozy two bedroom home on a 50 acre farm. Located only 2.5 miles from Cummins Falls State Park and 5 miles from Tennessee Tech, which makes the location convenient while very private. Lots of trees and natural scenery. Deer, turkey and other wildlife frequently sited from back deck.
