This charming cottage resides approximately 11 miles west of Portree 1 mile before the village of Edinbane. Minchview as the cottage is named ,sits overlooking the Loch and on a good day the island of Harris can be seen along with stunning views towards the bay at Edinbane. This cottage has been a family home for over 140 years and has just had some recent refurbishment whilst trying to retain the authentic character of a typical Skye cottage of this generation. All guests are welcomed warmly.

The dining table seats eight and the lounge has a woodburner. The house is spacious with several spaces for relaxing. Garden seating overlooks the sea.

Relax in the cottage or use it as a base to explore the many attractions on Skye. Close to the main village of Portree and the harbour at Uig with access to the Outer Hebrides the cottage is perfectly situated. The cottage has good WIFI, perfect for WFH. Warm and cosy in winter as well as summer.

Indigo is a beautiful traditional croft house overlooking Loch Greshornish and the township of Edinbane on the Isle of Skye. Situated on a slope with vantage of uninterrupted views, within walking distance of the village centre and its two renowned restaurants and only a 15 minutes’ drive from Portree, it is excellently positioned for exploring the Isle of Skye. Indigo has retained many of its original features, filled with charm and character, and feels especially cosy with the log burner on.

The master bedroom with en suite shower room/toilet is on the ground floor with a view over the Loch and a small double and a single upstairs. There is also another toilet downstairs. In view of the bed/bathroom facilities the house is perhaps best suited to either a couple/a couple with younger children.
