Our cottage sits above Lake Washington with a beautiful water view. A peaceful respite, yet so close to the city. You can barbeque on the deck and watch the boats go by as ospreys fish in the little marina just below. Walk or ride bikes along Lake Wa. Blvd. to Seward Park offering its old-growth forest and pretty lakeside loop just one mile away. A short walk takes you to coffee shops and vibrant Columbia City is just 1.4 miles away with a convenient light rail station in the center of town.

Your journey to serenity is a lovely 5-to-8-minute walk down a historic hillside to the secluded community of Sunrise Beach. Walking down the private driveway you may see a family of deer on your left when you pass the Historical Marker. The Little Guest House is a vintage 100 year old home nestled in a quiet neighborhood with all the modern conveniences to make your stay comfortable and relaxing. The living areas are inviting both inside and out. There is a cozy living and dining room, full kitchen with a charming breakfast nook, and a laundry room for your use. The bathroom is small with a shower (no tub).
