Wildland-urban interface local. We've seen raccoons, a coyote, swallows nest in spring and sometimes spiders make webs outside. We are right where urban and wildland meet. Numerous golf courses. Lopez Lake and San Luis Obispo are just 10-15 minutes from the Chalet. Morro Bay, Montana de Oro and Hearst Castle are short day trips away.
