This farmhouse was purchased by the host's parents in 1987. While being raised here with 8 siblings, this home felt very small. Lodging for 4 people. There are 4 twin beds. Great location for those that like to fish! Plenty of parking for boat(s) and vehicle(s). Also great for those looking to see the surrounding area and events (Treasure Island Event Center). Your place is 3 miles from downtown Red Wing MN, along the Mississippi River. Just yards up from Everett’s Resort and 2 miles from the DNR boat access Pool 4 off of Hwy 63 WI. There is also public offshore fishing within walking distance of the lodging.

Rush River Cottage & Gardens hosted by Phil & Kay

Milkhouse Cottage was rebuilt from the original Milkhouse built on our farm in 1906. Nestled in a peaceful valley across the road from the Rush River. Amenities include one queen bed, 1 queen sized comfortable queen sofa bed, air conditioning, private deck, private fire pit & 38 acres of private hiking trails and snowshowing trails. For larger groups we have another cottage on airbnb called the Trout Haus. Check on Airbnb or contact us regarding renting both houses.
