We offer a 1st floor guest room & private bath inside our home near the Salisbury Cove area of Bar Harbor. Bar Harbor Lobster Pound, Mainely Meat BBQ, Utter Heaven Ice Cream & also Mini Golf is within walking distance. The Acadia NP Visitor Center, the start of the Park Loop Rd and downtown Bar Harbor are within 2 to 5 miles. Drive into Acadia or to the shops, restaurants & excursions of Bar Harbor or from late June to mid Oct, catch the free Island Explorer shuttle from the end of our road.

We are the Black Friar Inn and Pub, the Skylight room has a big skylight which overlooks our sunny yellow room with a queen bed. Enjoy those Bar Harbor starlit nights from this rooftop room. Our in town location gives our guests a three minute walk to the harbor and downtown Bar Harbor. One dedicated parking spot, Fridge & WI-FI. Located on the third floor.

Freedom House Second Floor 3 Bedroom Apartment

This 3 bedroom apartment occupies the second floor of the Freedom House Bed & Breakfast main house. Two of the bedrooms have a queen size bed, and one has a king size bed. The apartment has a comfortable living room with cable tv, and a fully equipped eat in kitchen. The bathroom has a claw foot tub/shower combination (and obviously a sink and toilet, lol!) *PLEASE BE AWARE THE STAIR CASE IS STEEP BY TODAYS STANDARDS AS THE HOUSE WAS BUILT IN 1888.
