The lake is fed by the crystal clear waters of the Rainbow Springs system and the dark tannin stained waters of the Withlacoochee River. Back in the 1930's, the water shed was dammed up on its far western edge. The result was a creation of a 12 mile long lake with a river twisting through the center, all of which you will enjoy from your waters edge dock. Senna Cabin is on a 20 acre completely fenced ranch surrounded by trees and horse pastures. Get away from noises of highways and cities and stay under the stars. The ranch is a close neighbor of Rosemary Hill Observatory, Devil's Den Prehistoric Spring, and the Blue Grotto. Check out our Guidebook for many more nearby adventures. There is a gear drying rack on the cabin porch, for those who dive, swim, or snorkel off property and need a place to hang dry items.
