The private courtyard is located right off of the kitchen with a Weber charcoal grill and seating for four as well. Central heat and air, dishwasher, wifi, Keurig coffee maker, iron/ironing board and blow dryer. This apartment, as well as the courtyard, is private. You have your own gated entrance. It is not a shared space. We live on the property so if there is something you need, we can quickly respond and assist you. The home is in the historic, offbeat Marigny district, known for its bistros, bars, and music venues, adored by locals as well as vacationers. Walk to the French Quarter, Bywater, and Frenchman Street. Public transport and bike rental are close by. Located steps away from the St Claude bus line and a 8 minute walk to the St Claude streetcar line, both can take you to every part of the city. Walk or bike to Frenchman St and the French Quarter. A small grocery store is a five-minute walk away. The St. Charles Ave. streetcar will take you to the French Quarter and to the uptown area where you can visit Loyola or Tulane Universities and the can't miss Audubon Park (and zoo). Cost is $1.25 to ride. From there, jump on a bus to get to the other areas of the city. Free street parking is available. Bike Share station close by.
