A magical stroll through the woods leads to the suspension bridge. You won't believe you're only minutes from town. Wear appropriate shoes as it is a short 2-minute hike to the tree house. At times, it can get a little slick.

The Alpine Den Is perfect for all occasions, from a romantic getaway to a family retreat. Located in an old growth forest near the Salmon River, nestled under a canopy of Firs and Cedars. The Hideout | A Modern Tiny Cabin Near Mt. Hood

The Woodlands Hideout is a small intentional semi-offgrid retreat space, featured on Dwell. It was designed and built by Further Society and created to allow guests to immerse in the beauty of the natural world, but still offer some cozy and more essential comforts. Although the footprint of the space is small, we designed the experience to be outward focussed, so it feels very expansive with the towering pine trees in view.

This mountain style home is perfect for an individual, or two. A private trail from the back deck leads down to the emerald waters of the McKenzie River.
