Horton planes national park is a protected area in the central highlands of Sri Lanka and is covered by montane grassland and cloud forest. This plateau at an altitude of two thousand one hundred meters is rich in biodiversity and many species found here are endemic to the region. Botanic Gardens - Hakgala , Twenty minutes drive from the bungalow, Situated at an elevation of about One thousand seven hundred forty five meters above sea level. The flora of the gardens is distinctly sub tropical and consists of the indigenous, montane flora intermingled with those introduced from other subtropical countries.
