House by the sea and The Seal Woman

A house on the edge of the cliff. Direct view form the living area of the famous statue "The Seal Woman" and the steepest mountains in the Faroe Island. On 1st floor there is kitchen and living room in one room. In the kitchen there are the normal facilities. There is also a bathroom with shower. Upstairs there are two bedrooms that can accommodate 7 people. Outside the house there is a small balcony, where you can enjoy the spectacular view. You need to take a ferry to get to the house.

Undredal Langhuso

Car recommanded for this stay. 6 km from Undredal, 6 km from Flåm, you will find Undredal valley, the area for this cabin. This is the place they have their goats in the summertime, and some of their browncheese-productions. You are still able to see some of the production-equipment inside. The goats will be in this area from middle July to the start of Sept. This is a peacefull place to relax, without TV and WiFi. Take your coffie outside, to the view of mountains and falls. A great retreat from the middle of everyday life to a hideaway! The log-built sauna has a private beach, and you can go fishing or rowing by boat. In the private, sand-bottomed swimming area, you can enjoy a dip in the water while enjoying the traditional sauna. The cottage has electric heating and running cold water. Cottage of about 60 square meters with 2 bedrooms. Own kitchen with crockery. The cottage is in a peaceful area with 3 other cabins. The chalet is in a private road and the area is quiet and peaceful. There is barbecue at the cabin for fine evenings with sunset in the fjord. There is a fireplace in the living room and it comes with firewood that can be used if it gets cold. There is also electric heating in every room. Bed linen and cleaning are included in the price.

The cabin is one of 4 self catering cabins/rorbuer beautifully situated on the waters edge a 5 min walk from the Flåm railway station/harbour. Best location in Flåm with panoramic views. The use of a boat with a small outboard is included in the price, unfortunately not in winter. WiFi, Satellite TV, Bluetooth speaker, wood burner, dishwasher, clothes washing machine, microwave plus fully equipped kitchen. Free private parking. Australian/Norwegian hosts.
